Webcam Venezia

With our webcam Venezia we welcome you during your stay in the world famous lagoon city. Probably everything has been said about Venice, but the unique beauty with its palazzi, bridges and canals still attracts countless visitors year after year, who come to see St. Mark’s Square with St. Mark’s Basilica, Campanile and Doge’s Palace, the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs or the islands of Burano and Murano. Today, only about 55,000 inhabitants live in the old town of Venice, with a declining trend. Many inhabitants move to Mestre on the mainland.

With its kilometer-long Lido, however, Venice also invites visitors to enjoy the pleasures of swimming. And for those who find the lagoon city too turbulent, they can simply take a trip to the venerable university city of Padova, to Chioggia or to the Po Delta. In Venice, however, you often only have to stroll a few alleys away to leave the crowds behind and then dive deep into the belly of the Serenissima.
